Puerto Princesa

Off to the west of the Visayas, Palawan is the long thin island stretching down to the Malaysian state of Sabah. Things to do and see here are strongly connected with nature, islands, scuba diving and caves with underground rivers and wildlife. On no other island in the Philippines are people attuned to nature and aware of the environment as on Palawan. Peak weather conditions can be found between September until May. You can expect some rain between September and December and then again in May. It will be hot in April. As the island has developed, there are accomodations and services all year around and the backside beaches become attractive.
